Your garage should be a place to park, store tools and work on projects, not a graveyard for forgotten boxes. Here is how to take it back.
Step 1: Empty it out
It sounds extreme, but pulling everything onto the driveway forces a decision on every item. Pick a dry Upstate day and start early.
Step 2: Sort into four piles
Keep, donate, sell and haul. Be honest. If you have not used it in two years, it is probably not coming back into rotation.
Step 3: Clean the space
Sweep, knock down cobwebs and wipe the shelves while the garage is empty. It is the easiest time to do it.
Step 4: Organize in zones
Tools in one corner, lawn equipment in another, seasonal storage up high. Shelving and wall hooks get things off the floor.
Step 5: Haul the junk
This is where we come in. Text a photo of the haul pile to 864-485-9742 and we will give you a price. We load it ourselves and sweep up when we are done.
